It has taken over six months of looking for a suitable alternative to the traditional diamond engagement ring but, with the help of Erin Tracy of Erin Tracy Designs, we've finally found it! Using this ring as our model, we have changed the materials to more ecologically friendly alternatives for its construction. Our ring will be made from recycled white titanium gold and black checkerboard-cut onyx. It is currently in the making and should be ready within a couple of weeks. I'll post a photo when I have one!
In the meantime go to Erin's website and check out her work - she is brilliant!!

A Bridesmaid Dress for Any Occasion
I would like my bridesmaids to be able to wear their dresses again after the wedding.I do not profess this to be an original desire. In fact, I suspect that this is a common wish amongst ecologically- or fiscally-minded brides everywhere. But finding a dress that is both dressy enough for a classic wedding and casual enough to be worn again can be a challenge and often, when the style and elegance of one's wedding is put in danger, I believe that it is style that often wins out over practicality.
Perhaps then the signature wrap dress by Butter by Nadia is the solution. This dress comes in jersey material or satin and is versatile enough for any occasion so that it is more than just a one-day wonder!
